About Our Ties
Are your ties authentic? Yes, without exception. Every tie is a genuine vintage piece individually sourced from trusted suppliers we have built long-standing relationships with. All designer ties undergo an in-house verification process before listing. We do not sell replicas, reproductions, or counterfeit goods of any kind.
What condition are the ties in? Every tie is graded to our in-house Grade A standard. This means it is wearable, presentable, and free from holes, heavy staining, or significant damage. As with all vintage items, subtle signs of prior wear may be present. Any notable wear is clearly photographed and described in the individual listing so you know exactly what you're buying before you purchase.
Do you restock sold-out ties? No. Every tie in our collection is a one-of-a-kind piece. Once it sells, it won't be restocked. We add new ties daily, so check back regularly or follow us on social media to see new arrivals.
How are your ties measured? All ties are measured flat. Length is taken from tip to tip when fully unfolded. Width is measured at the widest point of the blade. Full measurement details are listed on every individual product page.
Are the brands you sell officially affiliated with The Vintage Tie Shop? The Vintage Tie Shop is an independent reseller of authentic pre-owned neckwear. We are not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any of the brands featured in our listings. All brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely to accurately describe the items we offer for resale. All items sold are genuine pre-owned products legally acquired for resale.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna for eligible orders. All transactions are processed securely.
Can I use Klarna? Yes. Klarna is available at checkout for eligible orders, allowing you to pay in instalments or pay later.
How does Buy 2, Get 1 Free work? Add any three ties to your basket and the lowest priced item will be automatically deducted at checkout. The offer applies sitewide on all ties with no exclusions.
Can I cancel or amend my order? We process and dispatch orders quickly. If you need to cancel or amend your order please contact us at hello@thevintagetieshop.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to help before dispatch. Once dispatched we are unable to make changes.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally? Yes — we ship worldwide using Royal Mail International Tracked. Full shipping costs and estimated delivery times are available on our Shipping policy.
How long will my order take to arrive? UK orders sent via Royal Mail 48 Tracked typically arrive within 2-3 working days after dispatch. Next day delivery is available for UK orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday. International delivery times vary by destination — full details are on our Shipping policy.
Will I be charged import duties on international orders? Import duties, taxes, and handling fees charged by customs are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our shipping charges. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before ordering.
My order hasn't arrived — what should I do? Please allow the full estimated delivery window before contacting us. If your order has not arrived after this time, email us at hello@thevintagetieshop.com with your order number and we will investigate with Royal Mail on your behalf.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy? You have 14 days from delivery to notify us that you wish to return an item, and a further 14 days to send it back. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. Full details are on our Returns Policy page.
Who pays for return shipping? Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent, in which case we will cover return postage in full.
How long does a refund take? Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.
Do you offer exchanges? No. If you would like a different tie please place a new order.
