Welcome to The Vintage Tie Shop. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Vintage Tie Shop Ltd. We operate this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) together with any policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

By accessing, browsing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Orders and payment

  • When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your basket. We accept your order when we email an order confirmation.

  • If we cannot accept your order (for example due to stock, suspected fraud or pricing error), we will cancel it and refund any payment.

  • You must provide accurate contact, shipping and payment details and confirm you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

  • Prices are shown in GBP (£) and are the prices in force at checkout. Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices exclude shipping and any customs duties, import taxes or handling fees outside the UK.

  • From time to time we may run promotions or discounts with separate terms. If those conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms apply for that promotion.

3. Shipping and delivery

  • Our current shipping options, prices and delivery time estimates are shown on our Shipping page and at checkout.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control.

  • For orders shipped outside the UK, import duties, taxes and any customs/handling fees are not included in our prices or shipping charges and are payable by you to the relevant authorities or delivery partner.

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once we hand the parcel to the carrier.

4. Returns and refunds

  • Your rights to return items and receive a refund or exchange are set out in our Returns Policy.

  • Any returns must follow that policy, including time limits and condition requirements. This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Products and availability

  • We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours and appearance can vary between screens and devices.

  • We may change, limit or discontinue products, prices and offers at any time without notice.

  • We may limit quantities per order or per customer if we reasonably consider this necessary (for example to prevent reselling).

In addition, you agree not to: (a) upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Services; (b) reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services; (c) collect or track the personal information of others; (d) spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; or (e) interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Services or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated any part of these Terms.

All content on the Services (including text, images, graphics, logos and layout) is owned by The Vintage Tie Shop Ltd, our licensors or Shopify and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view the site and print pages for your personal use only. You must not copy, modify, distribute, publish or use any part of the site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

“The Vintage Tie Shop” and related names and logos are our trade marks. Other names and logos are the property of their respective owners.

8. Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This explains what we collect, why we collect it and how we use and share it.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, business or data; and

  • Our total liability in respect of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
